  ** Please do not flush anything down your drains that is not water-soluble. "Flushable wipes" and "baby wipes" should never be flushed - they will not break down enough to go through the various pumps and grinders, and they also tend to gather and clog in the lateral lines and main sewer lines, which may cause backups into your home.

  Other items that should never be flushed are any type of cloth, dental floss, Q-tips, or personal hygiene items.

 Farmdale Sanitation's Insurance Provider will not cover damage due to wastewater backups in your home. Homeowners and renters can purchase inexpensive insurance riders against sewer backups through their insurance agent. We strongly advise property owners to discuss their insurance policy needs with their agent. Wastewater damage inside the home can be very expensive to clean and repair.
